OMG, studying for geopolitics is eating the life out of me. I honestly feel like S/Uing the damn module so I can spend my time effectively on my other modules. But I know it's completely not worth S/Uing it. I can do well for this module. I WILL DO WELL. Argh.

Anyways to motivate myself I printscreened the email containing my grade for the class response and saved it. A- folks. I will not waste my A-!!!!!!!!

HAH.

Hello world.

Went for Cheryl's birthday party yesterday with Xiao Hui and Kai Weeee (and a few others but they are irrelevant! whahaa). Anyway felt kind of surreal because before foodhunt, this combination of the three of us never crossed my mind. But it was a good combination, enjoyed myself because of them.

Drove there and back. Did my second parallel parking which totally shouldn't be counted. In fact, my first one shouldn't be counted. Both times just required me to drive in as the first was a single slot and the second, the last slot. XDDDDDDDD

Cheryl's party was WOW. Princess was truely the theme and word of the day. Also I've figured out how to make KaiWeeeeeee eat. Get her bored then make sure sweet stuffs and abundant. I've never seen her eat so much before! Hehs.

Stop. Breathe. Reflect. What have you done today? Let's think about it.

I've realised that recently I've been accumulating too much bad karma. Negativity and being bitchy. It's getting to much.

As such I've resolved to become more positive and less judgemental.

i.e. less bitchy.

I mean such, being bitchy is a good way to de-stress and gossiping is interesting except when it's about you. But still, I think I've been engaging waaaay too much in both. I have to stop jumping to conclusions and thinking the worst out of people. I will be positive.

On the other hand I hope other people can be more positive too and stop wallowing in self-pity and depressing thoughts. It'll make it easier for me not to bitch about you too. XP

Hello Hello Hello.

Am typing this in PI class because either I forgot to print the notes or my brilliant subconciousness prevented me from printing out the 58 slides. Rawr. Anyway, totally not listening. Am sticking around to see if Peter Li gives any hints for the exams. =\

Anyway, Futsal was this Sunday. Some people really impressed me by doing an excellent job! Hahas. You know who you are. Also, I gained further proof that guys think with their dicks, or at least testosterone. I was the team nanny for pitch 4 and Lester was my scorekeeper. Figures that the only major fight/scufle happened in my pitch and shocked me greatly cause I got shoved too. Hahs. I panicked and walkied Eugene to get his ass over to pitch 4. Hahaas. Drama drama. And being a team nanny turned out to be easier than expected...except for that scuffle of course.

Michy had a failed attempt at baking brownies and produced blackies instead. I love the taste and colour of her blackies tho. I am weird like that. But then again, people follow weird trends too. Back last year I was all crazy over neon-bright cupcakes, not the icing and everybody was like 'eeee all food colouring!!!'. Now what's the latest craze at curiouscupakes? Rainbow cupcakes full of neon-bright colouring. HMFP.

Exams seem like a long way off, when in reality it's like in two weeks. OHNO.

1. I had to reformat my com. Again. Also means I have lost all my blog links. Again.

2. Foodhunt08 was on Sunday and was a certified success! It may be a creepy thing to do, but I've been goooogling Foodhunt 08 and reading blogs of participants. What's awesome is feedback has been good! All who blogged about it, mentioned they had lots of fun! It feels great to know our hard work paid off.

3. When I have the time I'll create a web album in picasa on FoodHunt day itself. Victor and I went trigger happy at UOB plaza, the final destination! But I couldn't help myself! The whole day what I've basically been doing is driving and driving and driving all around Singapore. And we all know what kind of stress driving puts on Evelyn. D: So when I got to UOB plaza I was basically bored and tired and exhausted...of course I wanted to have fun!

4. It was pretty fun welcoming the teams back. Some got a little carried away with banging the gong though. Hahahas, I thought I was goign to go deaf. But alas, Meiyi's mini SD card got stuck in my laptop, which is just the beginning of my computer woes.

5. At the end of it we had all the foodhunt participants sing KaiWeeeeee the birthday song and later took photos like celebrities! Also watched the video Cherie painstakingly did for KaiWeeeee! So sweet!

6. I really enjoyed FoodHunt 08 and the com was a wonderful one!

7. Anyways, I got back home from Foodhunt only to realise my laptop could not start up.

8. So the next day, I specially went dwon to school just to fix my laptop even though I had no lessons. When I finally reached the com center then I realised I didn't bring my CD-drive and my wallet and my keys. So I couldn't repair my com and couldn't go home either since my brother was out and parents were still in Malaysia!

9. And so yesterday I went down to the com center again (after getting my brother to pass me the once again forgotten CD-drive) to get my laptop repaired. What I got was a receptionist who can't speak up, attitude from the technicians and computer jagon which made no sense to me. And in the end I was bounced to the IT co-op which pissed me off because the two times my com screwed up I ended up being bounced to the IT co-op. Which just tells me the com center is not only inefficient, it's redundant. Appearantly there has been a shitload of complains about them already. I really hope something it done. I think I may send in a complain email or something. My experience with them has always been bad.

10. So anyway, at the IT co-op, things were much better. The serivce there is like 9999999x better. The people don't pour computer jargon on you in a condecending tone and actually bother to help you. I was slightly hysterical by the time I got to the IT co-op and on the verge of crying because god damn it! I just wanted my laptop fixed! And I was still pissed with the com center. So the IT co-op people were nice enough to fix my laptop without the actually required charge.

11. They also told me, next time, get the name of the technician in the com center who bounced me to the IT co-op and so that if there's a required charge we can charge it back to them. Hmfp.
