1. I had to reformat my com. Again. Also means I have lost all my blog links. Again.

2. Foodhunt08 was on Sunday and was a certified success! It may be a creepy thing to do, but I've been goooogling Foodhunt 08 and reading blogs of participants. What's awesome is feedback has been good! All who blogged about it, mentioned they had lots of fun! It feels great to know our hard work paid off.

3. When I have the time I'll create a web album in picasa on FoodHunt day itself. Victor and I went trigger happy at UOB plaza, the final destination! But I couldn't help myself! The whole day what I've basically been doing is driving and driving and driving all around Singapore. And we all know what kind of stress driving puts on Evelyn. D: So when I got to UOB plaza I was basically bored and tired and exhausted...of course I wanted to have fun!

4. It was pretty fun welcoming the teams back. Some got a little carried away with banging the gong though. Hahahas, I thought I was goign to go deaf. But alas, Meiyi's mini SD card got stuck in my laptop, which is just the beginning of my computer woes.

5. At the end of it we had all the foodhunt participants sing KaiWeeeeee the birthday song and later took photos like celebrities! Also watched the video Cherie painstakingly did for KaiWeeeee! So sweet!

6. I really enjoyed FoodHunt 08 and the com was a wonderful one!

7. Anyways, I got back home from Foodhunt only to realise my laptop could not start up.

8. So the next day, I specially went dwon to school just to fix my laptop even though I had no lessons. When I finally reached the com center then I realised I didn't bring my CD-drive and my wallet and my keys. So I couldn't repair my com and couldn't go home either since my brother was out and parents were still in Malaysia!

9. And so yesterday I went down to the com center again (after getting my brother to pass me the once again forgotten CD-drive) to get my laptop repaired. What I got was a receptionist who can't speak up, attitude from the technicians and computer jagon which made no sense to me. And in the end I was bounced to the IT co-op which pissed me off because the two times my com screwed up I ended up being bounced to the IT co-op. Which just tells me the com center is not only inefficient, it's redundant. Appearantly there has been a shitload of complains about them already. I really hope something it done. I think I may send in a complain email or something. My experience with them has always been bad.

10. So anyway, at the IT co-op, things were much better. The serivce there is like 9999999x better. The people don't pour computer jargon on you in a condecending tone and actually bother to help you. I was slightly hysterical by the time I got to the IT co-op and on the verge of crying because god damn it! I just wanted my laptop fixed! And I was still pissed with the com center. So the IT co-op people were nice enough to fix my laptop without the actually required charge.

11. They also told me, next time, get the name of the technician in the com center who bounced me to the IT co-op and so that if there's a required charge we can charge it back to them. Hmfp.
