U2 owned the grammys! woohoo!
so i spent a good 4hrs of my life watching the grammys. it was really cool. especially the performance by jay-z, linkin park and..who would have guessed? paul mccartney himself. totally cool. hahas. there was also this old guy, sly stone or smth. appearantly really respected and hadn't made a public performance for 19years. don't know him(hello, different era?) but he was.....he commanded the audience. it was unbelievable. i mean he didn't even stay on stage for the finale of his performance segment. at first i was like wtf? but then, you realised it was totally brilliant, and if he stayed, the effect just wouldn't be the same. besides, the guy has a platium blonde mohawk, he's in a league of his own.
so mariah carey did her 'we belong together' thing again. the song is so totally overplayed..but when she does it 'live', actually performing it onstage..it just blows you away. everything just stops and all you here is her singing.
so the furniture company called to say the wardrobe i wanted is out of stock. urgh. i hate it when this happens. I WANT IT! meeh.
walked around chinatown with amy the other day. really fun! hahas, kinda got lost, but it was fun juest walking around looking at stuff and drinking coconut juice(damn good). i should really go there more often. town is just..boring. bring on chinatown. oh, we wanted to take a short cut through this alley. took 5 steps, saw a rat(a big huge hairy one), screamed, and hurried back to the main street. it was actually very amusing.
watched ian wright in tahiti and bora bora island. so beautiful!! i want to go there for a loooong holiday. neeways, watching climb a hill just brought back memories of NZ. OMG i miss NZ. i had so much fun there...sheeps are my official favourite mammal besides meows. and stingrays are actually adorable. =)
